Apricot Trees for North Florida

Advanced Nursery Growers offers apricot trees for sale at our local nursery in DeFuniak Springs, Florida. Apricot trees can be a beautiful and rewarding addition to a backyard orchard, homestead, or fruit tree planting when the right varieties are selected for our area.

We carry apricot varieties when available, including Tilton, Moorpark, and other apricot trees suited for warm-climate or lower-chill areas. Apricots may be more challenging in North Florida than some other fruit trees, so variety selection, planting location, and good care are important.

Apricot trees grow best in full sun with well-drained soil and good air circulation. They should be planted where they receive plenty of sunlight and are not sitting in wet soil. Apricots bloom early, so late cold snaps can sometimes affect fruit production in our area.

Our apricot trees are available for local pickup only at our nursery. We do not ship apricot trees at this time. Customers visit us from Walton County, DeFuniak Springs, Freeport, Ponce de Leon, Crestview, Niceville, Fort Walton Beach, Destin, Panama City Beach, Santa Rosa Beach, Bonifay, Chipley, Dothan, South Alabama, South Georgia, and surrounding North Florida areas.
