SHUMARD RED OAK TREE NATIVE 'Quercus shumardii 'grows to a height of 40 to 60 ft. Leaves turn a beautiful red and orange in the fall. It is one of the largest of the oak species. It is a great choice for wildlife. Not only is it one of the fastest growing oaks, but it’s also one of the last oaks to drop acorns. This provides wildlife food right when winter is approaching and they need food. Shumard oak also makes great timber and grows well on both bottomland and upland sites.

We only ship to the continental USA no shipping to California, Arizona, Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico. Our plants ship bare root or with minimal soil in a bag. 5 gallon pots or larger they must be picked up at the nursery ( or call for special shipping arrangements to see if we can ship to you ).
