BLUEBERRY HIGHBUSH

Blueberry Highbush: Vaccinium corymbosum

Grows 6-12 feet tall. Upright, multi-stemmed, slow growing deciduous shrub found naturally in bogs, swamps, and high elevation forests. Has beautiful fall coloration.

Can self fertilize however having more than on plant will result in larger blueberries. Requires lower soil pH (is acid loving). Just needs occasional pruning.

Used: as a hedge or mass planting. Great for birds and butterflies.
