North Florida Growing Note

A good native groundcover option for North Florida. Foliage may thin considerably or die back during cold weather, so do not expect a full green carpet throughout winter.

Care & Maintenance

Allow room for spreading and trim edges as needed to keep plants within their intended area. Sunshine Mimosa can be mowed occasionally and tolerates light foot traffic, but it is unsuitable for heavily traveled paths or play areas. Keep weeds controlled while new plants fill in.
