Silky Dogwood is a beautiful native flowering shrub valued for its creamy white blooms, attractive blue berries, reddish stems, and exceptional wildlife benefits. This adaptable native shrub thrives in moist soils and is commonly used in wildlife habitat plantings, pollinator gardens, rain gardens, pond edges, naturalized landscapes, and conservation projects throughout North Florida, South Alabama, and the Florida Panhandle.

In spring, Silky Dogwood produces clusters of creamy white flowers that attract pollinators, followed by blue berries that provide an important food source for birds and wildlife. The shrub’s dense growth habit also creates excellent cover and nesting habitat for native wildlife.
