Rough Leaf Dogwood is a hardy native flowering shrub or small tree valued for its excellent wildlife benefits, pollinator-friendly blooms, and adaptability to a wide range of growing conditions. Native to the Southeastern United States, this tough landscape plant is commonly used for wildlife habitat plantings, native landscapes, naturalized areas, hedgerows, and conservation projects throughout North Florida, South Alabama, and the Florida Panhandle.

In spring, Rough Leaf Dogwood produces clusters of creamy white flowers that attract pollinators, followed by white berries that are highly valuable to birds and wildlife. Its dense branching habit also provides excellent cover and nesting habitat for wildlife.
