Buy Finger Lime Trees for sale at Advanced Nursery Growers in DeFuniak Springs, Florida.

Finger Lime is a unique Australian citrus tree that produces slender, finger-shaped fruit filled with tiny juice-filled pearls. Often called “citrus caviar,” these colorful pearls pop in your mouth and release a refreshing lime flavor. They are excellent for seafood, salads, desserts, beverages, garnishes, and specialty dishes.

The tree has small evergreen leaves, a naturally shrubby growth habit, and thorny branches. Finger Limes grow well in containers, making it easier to protect them from freezing temperatures in North Florida.

North Florida Growing Note: Finger Limes are frost-sensitive and are not as cold-hardy as satsumas. In DeFuniak Springs and surrounding areas, container growing is recommended so the tree can be moved into a greenhouse, garage, or other protected location during freezing weather. Trees planted in the ground should be placed in a warm, wind-protected location and covered during freezes. UF/IFAS also recommends protecting Finger Limes from frost and strong wind.

Important: Finger Lime branches may have sharp thorns. Wear gloves when pruning or harvesting.
