EBONY & IVORY CRAPE MYRTLE

A beautiful tree with a pure white bloom against an intense dark dark purple foliage makes a stunning tree. The Ebony and Ivory can be grown as a scrub or a small tree. It is deciduous. It loves full sun.

…the five original Ebony crape myrtles are exactly the same as the original five crape myrtles marketed under the Black Diamond™ name.  In fact, these crapes were released by the National Arboretum/US Dept. of Agriculture with the Ebony names as their officially registered cultivar names.

Today some growers market them under the Ebony name; another under the Black Diamond™ name.  Here are the original Ebony named crape myrtles and the corresponding Black Diamond™ names:

• Ebony & Ivory = Black Diamond™ Pure White
• Ebony Embers = Black Diamond™ Red Hot
• Ebony Fire = Black Diamond™ Crimson Red
• Ebony Flame = Black Diamond™ Best Red
• Ebony Glow = Black Diamond™ Blush

We only ship to the continental USA no shipping to California, Arizona, Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico. Our plants ship bare root or with minimal soil in a bag.  5 gallon pots or larger they must be picked up at the nursery ( or call for special shipping arrangements to see if we can ship to you ).
