Explore our complete selection of peach trees, including low-chill, moderate-chill, and traditional high-chill varieties. This collection makes it easy to compare all the peach trees we offer and choose a variety that matches your climate, growing conditions, and preferred harvest season.
Peach trees produce beautiful pink blossoms in spring, followed by sweet, juicy fruit during late spring or summer, depending on the variety. They are an excellent choice for home orchards, farms, edible landscapes, and backyard gardens.
Not every peach variety is suitable for every location. Chill-hour requirements can vary greatly, so it is important to select a tree that matches the average winter temperatures in your area. Low-chill varieties are generally better suited to Florida and the Gulf Coast, while moderate- and high-chill varieties perform best in areas with colder winters.

Choosing the Right Peach Tree
The most important factor when choosing a peach tree is its chill-hour requirement. Chill hours are the approximate number of winter hours a tree needs within a certain cool-temperature range before it can flower and produce fruit properly.
A peach tree that requires more chill hours than your area normally receives may bloom unevenly, leaf out poorly, or fail to produce a dependable crop. A variety with a very low chill requirement may bloom too early in a colder location and be damaged by a late freeze.
Please review the chill-hour information and regional growing notes listed on each individual product page before selecting your tree.
Growing Peach Trees
Peach trees grow best in full sun with well-drained soil and good air circulation. Avoid planting in low areas where water or cold air may collect.
Most peach varieties are self-fertile and can produce fruit without a second peach tree nearby. However, planting more than one compatible variety may improve pollination and provide a longer harvest season.
Annual pruning encourages healthy new growth, helps maintain a manageable tree size, and improves sunlight penetration through the canopy. Young fruit may also need to be thinned to produce larger peaches and reduce the risk of overloaded or broken branches.
North Florida Growing Note
Customers in North Florida, the Florida Panhandle, South Alabama, and along the Gulf Coast should generally look for low-chill or moderate-chill peach varieties.
Traditional high-chill varieties may grow in our area but may not receive enough winter chilling to flower and fruit dependably every year. Always compare the variety’s chill-hour requirement with the typical winter conditions in your location.
