Great Wall Persimmon 🍊🌳
The Great Wall Persimmon is a hardy, reliable variety known for its excellent fruit quality and strong cold tolerance. It produces a tall, pointed shape with good color. The fruit is tomato-shaped, sunset orange with thick, rich flavor. Fruit ripens late September through October medium to large orange persimmons with a sweet, rich flavor when fully ripe and soft. Great Wall is self-pollinating, so only one tree is needed for fruit production. It performs well in USDA Grow Zones 5–9, making it a great option for a wide range of climates. The tree is vigorous, productive, and also adds ornamental appeal with attractive foliage and fall color.
