The fruit is medium to large, round, with rich red to ,purple skin that may have a natural bluish bloom. Inside, the golden-yellow flesh is streaked with red tender, juicy, and bursting with flavor.

This plum has a delicious balance of sweet and tart, starting with a tangy zest near the skin that melts into a rich, honey-like sweetness toward the pit. Its complex flavor has made Santa Rosa one of the most popular plums for fresh eating, and it is equally excellent for baking, preserves, sauces, and juices.

These trees begin producing fruit at 3 to 5 years old. They are early producers, boasting white blossoms in May, with a harvest ready in late July. These trees typically grow to be 15-20 ft. tall and wide.

We only ship to the continental USA no shipping to California, Arizona, Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico. Our plants ship bare root or with minimal soil in a bag.  5 gallon pots or larger they must be picked up at the nursery ( or call for special shipping arrangements to see if we can ship to you ).
