Buy Arapaho Blackberry Plants for sale at Advanced Nursery Growers in DeFuniak Springs, Florida.

Arapaho Blackberry is an excellent thornless, upright blackberry for home gardens, edible landscapes, and small fruit plantings. Developed by the University of Arkansas, Arapaho is especially appealing for gardeners who want delicious blackberries without dealing with thorny canes.

Arapaho produces medium-sized, glossy black berries with good flavor and is known for its early to mid-season harvest. Its upright growth habit makes the plants easier to manage than trailing blackberry varieties and generally reduces the need for an elaborate trellis.

Arapaho is a floricane-fruiting blackberry, meaning berries are produced on canes that grew during the previous season. After those canes finish fruiting, they should be removed so the new canes can develop for the following year's crop.

This variety is a particularly good choice for our area because UF/IFAS lists Arapaho among blackberry cultivars suited to North Florida. Its thornless canes make harvesting easier for home gardeners and U-pick-style plantings.
