.Dwarf Yaupon Holly Ilex vomitoria 'Nana' This is a good choice evergreen plant for a planter box. It can also be used as a low growing hedge plant. If you give it enough room to reach its mature height and spread, you shouldn't have to prune. Grows 3 to 5 ft tall and 3 to 6 ft wide. It has a greenish white flower. This is one of my favorite evergreens
