Sawtooth Oak Tree Quercus acutissima
This makes a beautiful shade tree. The Sawtooth Oak grows quickly, relative to other Oaks, rates of 3-4’ per year. It bears fruit at a very young age, as soon as five years from seed, and produces a heavy crop almost every year,See the picture below of an 11 year old Sawtooth oak that had adequate water.
